class = "KonaBody">
One of the most interesting aspects of business life in Thailand is the annual trip or two companies. <div </ p>

<p Officially, the event is an extension of the mandate, but in a more relaxed atmosphere. The reality is that there is normally a formal meeting of the society in which trustees or managers to give a pep talk to staff, and the rest of the long weekend is to do better with your colleagues make new friendships, and generally with a short break really exceptional. And as a farang, a foreigner in Thai rather than enter into the spirit of rupture, the more you appreciate. Of course, there will be times when you make a complete ass of yourself, but hey, it's a break, he is free and can be real fun! </ P>

<p Some time ago I went on a tour of these companies, having been invited by my local business partners to join the society for their first outing of year. The destination was a "village hotel, River Kwai Village Hotel, or" Jungle Resort </ strong> "in Sai Yok district of Kanchanaburi province, which is on some sixty four 'years after the capital of the province, the town of Kanchanaburi. </ P>

<p Sai Yok is very similar to most districts of Kanchanaburi province, it has lush forests and jungles, rivers and beautiful streams, the season waterfalls outstanding rains, and, of course, as in any other place in Thailand, some very interesting temples. </ P>

<p A little over four hours after boarding the luxury coach to Bangkok, we arrived at the Hotel Rive Kwai Village. By car, you can probably do it in two hours and a half, but if you've never attended a company outing in Thailand, you know you should stop every two hours for lunch required! </ P>

<p straight into the first meeting of the Society for the morning pep talks and three very short time later we were in action-packed weekends. The hotel is situated on the River Kwai Noi, and most rooms overlook the river beautiful mountain view, so the first day was set aside to explore the river on a raft in a Thai style. This should not be confused with rafts of the West – it is home and the boats are big enough for forty people, driven by strong vessels indefinitely, and are equipped with a mobile disco ., Food and a full range of drinks big enough for a day out. </ P>

<p Kwai Noi is remarkably preserved from pollution at this stage, it is ideal for swimming pools in many large banks that dot the shady river. Add in some gorgeous views, pristine jungle, a fine dining al fresco and a couple of beers and you have all the ingredients for a truly beautiful day in Thailand. </ P>

<p The second day was set by an extraordinarily well-oiled tour of several districts, the districts around Kanchanaburi. Transportation methods, including our luxury bus, local train and minibus. For me, the highlight of the day was Prasat Muang Sing Historical Park with local train from the city of Kanchanaburi to Tha Kilen Station. Some parts of this line to follow the path of the railway of the infamous death, and wondered in fear that the unfortunate souls forced labor during World War II was never built. </ P>

<p Prasat Muang Sing was probably built during the height of the Khmer influences and is supposed to be an outpost of Angkor. As such, the style of Khmer ruins it. From my description you can guess that if some information is available on its origin, much remains uncertain. This may be partly because the site is covered in the same way that the temple complex of Angkor is gone, and Prasat Muang Sing has been restored there are only about thirty five years. </ P>

This was the terminus of the weekend and returned to Tha Kilen, take the bus, which had miraculously appeared at the station to take us back to Bangkok! </ P>

<p For those of you who are not lucky enough to have a weekend organized for you, then I have some suggestions for you. Rent a car in Bangkok, I recommend Thai Rent A Car, (+66 (0) 2737 8888), and units of Kanchanaburi. This will give you full freedom to travel around and explore this beautiful province which borders Myanmar. Otherwise, go to the Southern Bus Terminal (Sai Tai Mai) in Bangkok by taxi or bus 511 air-conditioned, then take another bus aircon in the town of Kanchanaburi. </ P>

<p prefer to drive there, but can be a nerve racking experience a little ". I also took the bus, and this option very good and cheap and allows the freedom to choose among a range of tours and hotel packages when you arrive in Kanchanaburi. </ P>
